Excellent staff is very friendly, attentive and ready for good service, is the best in the hotel. The hotel is too old as for me, I consider should begin a stage of remodeling. Good location for people who have to make arrangements in the center of La Paz.
Very old hotel, should be remodeled

We had a great stay at this hotel, with exceptional cleanliness, good facilities, friendly staff, and a location right next to the markets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-maintained bathroom and plenty of hot water. The breakfast buffet had all the essentials - bread, juice, fruit, and yogurt. We were also pleased with the availability of 24-hour front desk attention and on-site parking.
No negatives from this place.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even memorized our names and room numbers! The rooms were spacious and had a lovely view of the mountains. We particularly loved having a large bed to sleep in, it made for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city. We enjoyed being close to the markets and the famous Witch's Market. It was also convenient to have a very good French restaurant, La Comedie, right nearby.
All aspects of our stay at this hotel were perfect.

Big rooms, nice view of the city
Did not have my room cleaned one day. No provision for coffee in the room, bathroom was outdated and it took time for hot water to come out of the faucet

Very friendly and helpful English-speaking staff.
The whole place was chilly, especially the restaurant, which was not pleasant for an evening dining experience.

Located in the heart of the city, close to many tourist sites and a popular French restaurant called La Comedie. The hotel is also close to a nearby mountain offering guests stunning views. The rooms are spacious, the showers are great, and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. Besides, the breakfast is decent with a selection of freshly cooked food items to choose from.
The hotel's decor could be more modern.

Not a 5 star hotel at all. 3 star average hotel. Terrible breakfast. There is nothing to eat. Breads was there three days ago. Rooms are nothing.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It's just a block behind the main avenue in downtown, making it so convenient to access all the attractions. You can easily explore the main park, artisan markets, witchcraft market, and even the Plaza de Armas, all within a few blocks. And for food lovers like me, there are so many good and affordable restaurants nearby, offering a variety of cuisines. One particular highlight was the French restaurant called La Comedie - it's definitely worth a visit!
All was well, no complaints.

The reason why I chose to stay in the el rey palace apart hotel was the star rating. I was a sole female traveler and security was my first reason for choosing this hotel. I was not disappointed. Every staff member spoke English and were very pleasant. They went out of their way to make my stay a very pleasant one. The price was attractive compared to the other 5 star hotels in the area. Breakfast was arranged along with a 4am departure. THANKS to all the staff . . . you all deserve a 5 star rating.

Convenient Location, Spacious Rooms, and Stunning View
My stay was very comfortable thanks to the convenient location that allowed me to explore the city centre easily. The spacious rooms provided ample space and gave a feeling of luxury. The stunning view of the city from the hotel's restaurant was truly mesmerizing. The hotel also offered free broadband in all the rooms which was impressive considering the country is among the poorest in the continent.
The hotel should pay attention to some maintenance issues, like the heating in the room and the cleanliness of the carpet in the hallway. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Staff all spoke good English and were accommodating. Comfortable and spacious rooms.
Hot water took rather a long time to start flowing.
